Description

Our valved disposable respirator provides safety & protection against low level asbestos exposure. Featuring an exhaust valve, padded nose crimp and dual elasticated bands allows for a comfortable, air tight seal around your face.

The exhaust valve allows for air to be expelled from the mask quickly to prevent the air tight seal from being broken by heavy breathing.

The FFP3 mask conforms to EN149 standards as per regulatory requirements for respirators. (CE Certified EN149:2001+A1:2009)

This dust mask is featured in our asbestos testing and removal kits. It provides protection against exposure to asbestos fibres when carrying out short tasks involving asbestos with minimal disruption (such as taking an asbestos sample or handling a piece asbestos cement) .

When working with asbestos you should ensure you're wearing a mask with FFP3 filters and other safety equipment / PPE (personal protective equipment) including coveralls, eyewear, shoes & gloves. Always assess the risk and seek professional advice before attempting to work with asbestos yourself.

Note: This mask is not suitable for working with asbestos for extended periods of time or working with friable asbestos materials such as asbestos insulation. Doing so poses a risk to health.

Any asbestos waste should be placed into asbestos bags (double bagged) and sealed to prevent contamination.
